Light a Candle
Richard W. Chandler, 73, died peacefully on June 12, 2021. A devoted husband to Patricia (Burns) and loving father to Amanda Minnichbach and Alissa Rhoades. He is also survived by his son in laws, Ian Minnichbach and Donald Rhoades and grandchildren, Jack, Addison and Penelope. His sisters Barbara Jacobs and Kathleen Wood and many nieces and nephews. Richard had a great sense of humor and easy going personality which enabled him to make friends easily and be well liked and respected by everyone. He fought for his country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was always willing to help everyone he knew. He enjoyed a variety of hobbies including bowling, golf, and pool. Richard was a friend to everyone. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday June 18, 2021 at Parkview Taylor Senior Home Community Room. 4102 Taylor Avenue, Nottingham, MD, 1st floor 3-5 and 7-9.
